125 Years of Packaging Innovation
The story of M. Jacob & Sons begins with Max Jacob, who immigrated to the United States in 1882. Full of youth and ambition, Max started a one-man bottling business three years later: the M. Jacob Company. Soon his fledgling company had developed a reputation for innovation and quality service.
When Max's sons entered the business, it was renamed to reflect the family tradition: M. Jacob & Sons. In the early 1980s we began Sprayco, our consumers division. Sprayco specializes in spray bottles and travel products for the retail market. Despite the company's long history, M. Jacob & Sons continues to innovate. We were one of the first companies in America to recycle bottles, and one of the first to use plastic bottles.
M. Jacob & Sons tradition continues to this day.
